Use Cases:
- Identify issues needing attention based on frequent transitions.
- Measure specific transitions as KPIs or SLA metrics.
First/Last Field Change Time
Overview:
- Displays the date and time of the first or last change to specified fields.
Use Cases:
- SLA tracking by monitoring the latest update time.

Use Cases:
- Measure cycle time and lead time for issue resolution.
- Monitor work in progress (WIP) time to optimize workflows.
Calculated Metrics
Overview:
- A comprehensive set of automatically generated fields that present key metrics based on predefined criteria. Select from a variety of available options, such as the number of comments, linked issues, sub-tasks, components, and more, to display specific information on an issue.
Use Cases:
- Automatically display the number of linked issues or sub-tasks associated with a parent issue, making it easier to monitor dependencies and progress at a glance.
- Track the number of comments on an issue to gauge the level of team engagement and communication.
- Display the number of components or custom attributes linked to an issue, providing project managers with quick insights into the complexity and scope of the task.
Parent Field Value
Overview:
- Easily display a parent ticket’s field value on a sub-task. This is perfect for monitoring the parent’s status or any other key field. The functionality also works for fetching Epic fields in linked issues and parent fields in sub-tasks.
Use Cases:
- Parent Assignee/Status/Labels/Priority and other fields: Display the value of the parent issue's field (epic for standard tasks, standard tasks for sub-tasks) without needing to switch between the current issue and its parent.
Modified by
Overview:
- The field type identifies the user who made the first or most recent update to the issue or a specific field within the issue.
Use Cases:
- Auditing Purposes: Ensuring a clear record of who made changes and when.
- Monitoring Activity: Keeping track of active contributors and the frequency of changes.
- Understanding Change History: Gaining insights into the progression and updates made to an issue over time.
